Lamborghini Huracán vs Urus: which one should you rent?

Platinum Exotics · Updated October 18, 2026

Rent the Huracán if it's about the drive and the sound: two seats, a naturally aspirated V10, coupe or Spyder, from $1,195 a day. Rent the Urus if you need room: five seats, a twin-turbo V8, from $995 a day. Both include 100 miles a day, and both carry the same license and insurance requirements.

Pick the Huracán if...

It's two of you, and the day is the drive: a coast run, a shoot, a birthday that wants a naturally aspirated V10 behind your head. Three of the seven are open-top Spyders (Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder (Blue), Lamborghini Huracán Spyder (Black), Lamborghini Huracán Spyder (White)), which is the spec to take toward the water. The coupes run from the Lamborghini Huracán (Pink) and Lamborghini Huracán (Green) to the Lamborghini Huracán Evo and the Lamborghini Huracán Performante. Photos love the loud colors, and every car page lists exact exterior and interior colors, so book the specific car rather than just the model.

Pick the Urus if...

You need the room: 5 seats in the data, real luggage space, and a ride the whole group tolerates for a week. It is the airport-run Lamborghini, the family-weekend Lamborghini, and the one on our weddings page (the Lamborghini Urus (White) does send-off duty). The lineup runs from the Lamborghini Urus (Grey) and the white car at $995/day through the Lamborghini Urus S (Black), Lamborghini Urus S (Blue), and Lamborghini Urus Widebody (Satin Black), up to the Lamborghini Urus Mansory and Lamborghini Urus Performante (White). Multi-day trips favor it too: at 7 plus days the entry cars drop to $796/day.

What each one costs for a weekend

Worked from the table above, at the 3 to 4 day tier. The Lamborghini Huracán (Pink) for 3 days runs 3 × $1,076 = $3,228 with 300 miles included. The Lamborghini Urus (Grey) for the same 3 days runs 3 × $896 = $2,688, also with 300 miles. The refundable deposit ($1,000 on both of these cars) is held separately and returned after the car comes back as it left.

Stretch to a full week and the 7 plus tier does the work: the same Urus drops to $796 a day (7 days, $5,572 total, 700 miles included), while the Huracán runs $956 a day ($6,692 for the week). The gap between the two grows with every tier, which is one reason long trips lean Urus and single great days lean Huracán.

Still torn?

Count heads, then count hours. More than one passenger ends the debate on its own, since the Huracán seats 2 and that includes the driver. A trip where the car works all day (an airport pickup, dinner, errands between them) is Urus territory, because the SUV does those jobs without asking anyone to fold themselves in. A single day built around one great drive is the Huracán's whole case, and if that day runs along the coast, take one of the Spyders. And if the answer is honestly "both", nothing stops you from booking a Urus for the week with a Huracán day inside it. That's two contracts and two deposits, but one phone number and the same delivery run from Costa Mesa.

The trims we rent

On the Urus side: the S cars (657 hp; the blue one runs 0 to 60 in 3.3s), the Lamborghini Urus Widebody (Satin Black) and Lamborghini Urus Mansory in satin black, and the Lamborghini Urus Performante (White) (657 hp, also 3.3s to 60).
