How to rent an exotic car in Los Angeles

Renting an exotic in LA is a logistics question before it's a car question: the city is big, the traffic is real, and the car should arrive where you are — not the other way around. Here's how delivery-first rental works, what it costs, and how to plan the hours that make it worth it.

Delivery beats pickup in LA

Our cars live in Costa Mesa, about 45 miles south of Downtown — so LA rentals run on delivery. We bring the car to your home, hotel, or set by appointment, do the license check, digital contract, and walkthrough at the curb, and collect it the same way. The delivery window is confirmed with you directly after you book; build it around LA traffic, not against it — mid-morning and mid-afternoon handoffs are calmer than the 5pm scramble.

Booking a car for a shoot

Photo and video shoots are among our most popular rentals. What matters on a production day: lock the exact car (color and spec, not just the model — every car's page shows its real colors), give us the call-sheet window when you book, and count the 100 included miles per day against any driving shots. Extra miles are priced per car ($3–$10/mile), so rolling-shot math is predictable in advance.

What it costs

Fleet-wide rates run $345–$2,750 per day: Corvettes from $345, G-Wagons from $595, Ferraris from $895, Lamborghinis from $995, and the Rolls-Royces at $1,195–$1,495. Multi-day bookings drop the per-day rate about 10% at 3+ days, 15% at 5+, and 20% at 7+. Every rental includes 100 miles per day and a refundable deposit listed per car. Full table on the prices page; the paperwork you need is on the requirements page — 18+, valid license, full-coverage insurance that extends to rentals.

The drives that earn the car

Pacific Coast Highway from Santa Monica through Malibu is the classic, calmest before mid-morning; Mulholland rewards something mid-engine; Angeles Crest is the full-commitment road when you want elevation and empty corners. A hundred miles a day covers any one of them round-trip from the west side.

When pickup beats delivery

Two cases: you live near the county line, or the drive itself is the point. The showroom sits at 1916 Placentia Ave, Ste A in Costa Mesa — take the 405 down, collect the car, and the first stop can be the coast instead of your driveway. Pickup also suits short-notice bookings, since it removes delivery scheduling from the equation entirely. Phones and texts are answered 24 hours a day; rentals, deliveries, and showroom visits are scheduled by appointment.

One day or several?

A single LA day suits an event or an evening — the arrival, the dinner, the night drive. But the pricing tiers argue for more: at 3+ days the rate drops about 10%, so a $1,195/day Huracán Spyder becomes $1,076, and a weekend costs meaningfully less per hour of actual use. If the trip includes a shoot day plus a free day, the multi-day tier usually pays for the second day's difference by itself.

The five-minute checklist

Before you book, settle four things: the exact car (color and interior matter in this town — every car page lists both), the delivery address and a two-hour window that dodges rush hour, your insurance answer (call your insurer and ask whether full coverage extends to rental vehicles — the one step that needs lead time), and the mileage plan if a shoot or a Malibu round-trip is involved. With those four set, the booking itself takes a minute and we confirm by text within the hour.

Ready when you are
